KAFA supports doctoral students in finance throughout the program and on to the job market.
- PhD Student Job Market Workshop. Mock interviews and job-talk feedback for doctoral candidates, led by senior KAFA scholars. The most recent workshop (July 29, 2025, 12:00 PM EST) featured Prof. Jung Chul Park (University of South Florida) and Prof. Hae mi (Amy) Choi (Loyola University Chicago) as presenters.
- Awards and scholarships. Doctoral students are recognized through the FN-KAFA Doctoral Student Dissertation Award and the SHB-KAFA Scholarships for Ph.D. Students.
- Community. The Brown Bag Seminar Series, conference sessions, and the member directory connect students with faculty mentors across North America and Korea.
